Episode 38: Painting and Pastoring: Art and Faith with Wedding Painter Stephen Popadich

I have had the pleasure of working with today's guest at a wedding, which always makes an interview extra fun! Stephen Popadich is a live wedding painter, as well as a pastor and officiant here in Charleston, SC. We chat about managing client expectations, the balance of being both an artist and business owner, and why a wedding painting should look different than an exact replica of a photograph. Stephen and I also discuss the larger picture of how art and artists fit into church, what role the Holy Spirit plays in creativity, and praying for our clients. We wrap up with a super simple way to share the gospel (without being weird) - if you aren't a natural at evangelism (like me), you'll love the easy way he breaks it down. Stephen is our first ever wedding painter on the podcast (and first officiant too!), and I think you will love hearing from him today.
